ABOUT US

Jamie, wife Judy and their children Ruby and Archie recently moved to Elmcross House, Broad Hinton from their former base of Newlands Stables in Lambourn.  The attraction of nearly 40 acres overlooked by the ancient chalk White Horse in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty was too much to resist so the family have moved ‘lock, stock and barrel’ away from the hustle and bustle of Lambourn life.

All of the services offered at their old base will be continued at Elmcross with the addition of being able to offer Grass Turn Out.

The Salt Water Treadmill has been re-installed in its new location and is already proving very popular with an ever expanding client base.

Elmcross has great transport links being around 2 miles from J15 of the M4 and the property is easily accessed by horseboxes both large and small.

ABOUT JAMIE

Passionate. Patient. Persistent. These are just a few of the characteristics that describe Jamie.  He knows each animal is different, and will work with yours to give them the specific guidance they need.  That’s why he has handled the horses of some of the biggest owners such as King Power and best known trainers on the flat and over jumps including Alan King, Richard Hannon, Richard Hughes amongst many more.

Before retiring from the saddle Jamie was a National Hunt jockey riding 100+ winners for Kim Bailey and Charlie Mann, among others and has been based in the area since he was 22.
